Testimonials

“Learning PBBT through the supervision clinics isn’t only effective, it’s also fun. People from all over the globe gather to chew over case formulations, to give and receive helpful feedback, and to grapple with the particulars of what makes PBBT so great: an ice-cold precision to know what to do while doing it the warmest way possible.” (Floriaan Demeester, Psychologist).

“After completing the Introduction to PBBT and one round of supervision clinics, I noticed a big improvement in my clinical work, specifically in clinical situations where I would normally get stuck and go in circles. In particular, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my ability to conceptualize cases and deliver process-based interventions. I’ve also recently received feedback from several clients that our work has felt more potent. I look forward to doing more trainings in PBBT as soon as possible.” (Cameron Murphey, Psychologist)

“My training and supervision with Perspectives Ireland has made a strong impact on my psychotherapy practice. Even though I am only starting to implement PBBT in my work, I already see an increased clarity and accuracy in what I think, say and do inside and outside of therapy sessions. I am really looking forward to continuing this journey of learning PBBT.” (Rudi Eide, Psychologist).

“I’ve started taking Ciara and Yvonne’s monthly supervision meetings recently, and find them to be super interesting and helpful, both for deepening my understanding of the PBBT model, in it’s nuances and breadth, and (more importantly for myself) for my clinical work with clients. The group always does a great job asking questions and the atmosphere is always respectful, kind, open and generous. The opportunity to do a deep dive into cases presented by participants and have Yvonne conceptualize them and Ciara put it down on the whiteboard (a real two headed monster..) is a great didactic upward-spiral, promoting the building of fluency in the approach. I would recommend this supervision group to those interested in linking basic PBBT knowledge to clinical work, in a process based, layer after layer sort of way. See you there?” (Lior Gilad, Psychologist).
